Joaquin Phoenix plays Joe, a damaged Gulf War veteran and former FBI agent turned assassin for hire, in this mean and lean film, adapted by Lynne Ramsay from the novella by Jonathan Ames. It is currently 88% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with a rating of 7.5/10 on IMDb. Screening times and tickets are available at HOME. It’s a good film but be warned – it’s not an easy watch.
