Music Matters at Selfrdiges

On Thursday the 28th of September, DJ and writer, Dave Haslam will be interviewing Manchester-born drummer, Mike Joyce, who has the inside story on the Smiths. He joined the band in 1982 and stayed with them until their demise in 1987. Subsequently, Mike played on two hit singles with Morrissey as a solo artist (‘The Last of the Famous International Playboys’ and ‘Interesting Drug’). He has since played and toured with the like of Buzzcocks, Julian Cope, and Public Image Limited. He has also established himself as both a radio presenter and a club DJ.
