The first ever Northwest Zinefest is taking place on Saturday the 30th of May, from 11am to 5pm at the Star and Garter in Manchester City Centre. “A zine (an abbreviation of fanzine or magazine) is most commonly a handmade, photocopied (or otherwise cheaply produced) small circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images.” The Zinefest brings together makers of zines to display and sell their work and will include talks, displays and workshops.
