Brooklyn based rapper Talib Kweli earned early recognition through his work with fellow Brooklyn-bred rapper Mos Def, in East Coast hip hop group Black Star. He is one of the most lyrically-gifted, socially aware and politically insightful rappers to emerge in the last 20 years. Talib will be performing on Wednesday night in Manchester at Sound Control.
