Written and directed by master filmmaker Jia Zhangke (The World, Still Life), this daring, poetic and grand-scale film focuses on four characters, each living in different provinces, who are driven to violent ends.
 
The film is currently certified 92% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with an average critics rating of 7.6/10. It has an IMDb rating of 7.2/10 and a Metascore of 77/100.
